Welcome to the Orange County Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory (OCRCFL) website. Our mission is to provide the highest quality digital forensics services and assistance to any law enforcement agency within our service area in the Central District of California. The OCRCFL requires a minimum of three (3) business days notice if you wish to request our assistance on-site. This includes any request for field siezure, field previewing or field imaging.
The OCRCFL does not accept faxed requests of any kind. Thank you for your cooperation.

What is an RCFL?
An RCFL is an FBI sponsored full service digital forensics laboratory and training center. The OCRCFL is devoted entirely to the examination of digital evidence in support of criminal and national security investigations, such as, but not limited to —
- Terrorism
- Child pornography
- Homicide
- Violent crimes
- Theft or destruction of intellectual property
- Internet crime
- Fraud
